Meet Your Hosts

The adventures of Charlie Lawson and Claudia Price began about 26 years ago when Claudia was a custom cabinet maker and Charlie was a lead warehouseman at the place where she bought the supplies for her cabinet shop. The intervention of fate threw them together, and Charlie and Claudia have been working and traveling together ever since.

When the last of their five children became independent adults, Charlie and Claudia ran away from home to see the country in their 37-foot motor home. Even though their kids thought their parents had finally gone “round the bend,” Charlie and Claudia knew this was the life for them.

While traveling and experiencing the cultural and geographic diversity of our beautiful country for the past 15 years, Charlie and Claudia have worked a variety of jobs in the property management and hospitality industries. They love to hear everyone’s stories and histories and feel they have learned so much from the folks they have met.

As innkeepers of the Ocean Cove Inn, Charlie and Claudia know that this, too, will be a wonderful addition to their many experiences of meeting interesting people and seeing beautiful places. They look forward to welcoming you to the unique and truly inspirational destination that is the Oregon Coast!
